HOME.... We tend to think of our Home as a house, a city or town. Others think it is my state or my country.
Our Ancestors held a knowledge that the land they lived on was Sacred, a faithful companion to care for, as it cared for them. ...In this way, Scared means something the community cherishes. Home was reflected in stories of the lights scattered above them in a canopy of stars. Our Ancestors understood that what was above them was connected to them, below. All of their stories of who we are and where we come from encourage us to remain faithful to the memory that the stars are also our Home. In all families, clans, tribes or nations of People, these Traditions were honored by seeding the proceeding generations with the inspiration to maintain the Sacred connections surrounding them and place the highest value in their relationship with Home.
Our Ancestors, Peoples we All descend from, wove our stories into a Spirit of Place commemorated in megalith, architecture and monument for us to rediscover whenever we began to grow too far from these memories. In this way, Spirit means a tangible awareness to define eternal. Our Ancestors call out to us, reminding us that Home is a living planet, our neighborhood is a system of planets surrounding a life giving star, our Sun. Our country is a perpetually spiraling galaxy in our world, an expanding universe. They remind us that the spark of our existence is the template for all existence and we only need to RE-MEMBER (the journey of our mother Auset, Isis) this design within ourselves to grasp the dynamics of our eternity... and they comfort us with an understanding that we are all related.
