OYA: Yoruban [Orisha / Iwa] – Goddess of Change - Storms & swift reckoning: Oya’s children are understand the need for making things happen, to shift circumstances so that good may come! Oya is the personification of storms, the swift change: for the good of the individual or community. Her nature is provocative and once evoked, in play til the task is completed. She is a cosmic storm, the principal and force of upheaval for changes, she is present in all things as life sustainer.
