October 31st A Cross-Quarter Sabbat All Hallows comes; the time when the veils between worlds are pierced, there is neither past nor present and there is no world of living nor dead…Samhain. Harvest is celebrated. Tonite we feast and fill ourselves. Tonite we journey to our Ancestors and explore the limitlessness of worlds everlasting. We celebrate our continuity as the darkness of the year approaches us. At Samhain the mists swirl into your sacred space to help you penetrate the veils. Our Ancestors await us on Samhain, our Celtic New Year.
Samhain is the Traditional Celtic celebration of harvesting and giving thanks to our Ancestors for having paved the way before us. A time of deliberate euphoria and feasting against the fear of winter’s threat, the ancient Celts gave over to jubilation, upliftment while the guardians of community Spirit approached the Ancestors in journeying to the Netherworld to ask their care and to divine the events in the coming year.
Use Samhain Essence to journey into Nether regions for recognition and development of your relationships with your Ancestors. As a subtle penetration between worlds, Samhain Essence helps restore your feeling for continuity during fearful times or at new, uncertain beginnings. During your Dreamtime, this essence provides an opening into Netherworld gaining wisdom through communion with your Ancestors. The answers eluding you during waking hours are obtainable through dreamwork. As a celebratory essence, Samhain subtly shifts you for circle and prepares your senses to allow your natural psychism; so bountiful during this Sabbat. Bathe in Samhain Essence prior to divination practice. Compliment your bath with Dittany of Crete and Mandrake oils.
